This site is her birth parent's work, our way of expressing our joy and pride, as well as sharing our story with other birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptee's who are looking for sources of strength on the internet.
This has been the hardest decision of our lives, but I am happy to report that it was the right one. We are confident that she is with the right family, and that we did the best thing we could have done for her by placing her in their care. She is the most amazing thing we have ever been a part of, and she is always in our thoughts and hearts! I added photo's of us,but out of respect for the adopting family's privacy there are none of them. You'll also find poetry and other writing exercises of mine written during my pregnancy, and after the adoption was finalized. I've tried to share my thoughts and experiences candidly, so there are some parts of this site that might be hard for you to read. Also keep in mind that these are only my opinions, and feelings that are shared in this site. It's not my intention to upset anyone, or promote any one train of thought. I will eventually put the whole story here, in the hopes that other birth mothers might find solace in the positive outcome of our adoption process.
